Year 5 became history detectives at the Surrey Heath Museum recently as they took part in a workshop to uncover evidence of Camberley’s past. As part of their local history topic, children scrutinized photos, maps, census material and artefacts to find out for themselves how things have changed over time. And just like a museum curator, they recorded their findings for posterity. They even got their hands dirty in an archaeological dig!
