The sun shone on our school trip today and we had a great time investigating invertebrates in the woodland and meadow. The afternoon was spent in the room dedicated to Captain Oates from the ill-fated Scott expedition to the South Pole. The children got to man-haul a sledge and try out an Antarctic tent.
