We had a bumper year this year with newcomers ACS Cobham increasing the size of our competition to include 20 teams including a promising Lyndhurst U11 side. The weather was kind to us as always with only a spot of rain at the end of the group stages. Lyndhurst progressed to the quarter finals of the knockout competition this year with a win and a draw from the pools. We met old rivals Hawley Place and pushed hard only to lose out by a single goal. Reigning cup champions Broomfield House once again took the spoils in the main competition and The Study School also retained their title in the plate. The Lyndhurst PE Department would like to thank Friends of Lyndhurst’s own Mrs Gee and Mrs Mardani for their assistance in serving refreshments and Michael, Mario, Harry and Gabriel for their hard work as Assistant Referees.
