This morning the grandparents of pupils in Year 2 and 3 were invited into school for the annual Grandparents’ Day. This is comprised of a extended performance assembly where all the pupils play music, recite poetry, perform plays and generally show their grandparents how talented they are(!), followed by a tour of their classrooms to show their special visitors their work and meet their teachers, ending with a coffee with Mr Rudkin in his study with delicious homemade biscuits! The children thoroughly enjoyed their day – we are all so very proud of them and are sure that their grandparents feel the same!
