Year 1 went to Brooklands Museum to help with their topic on transport. Luckily storm Doris did not stop the trip. The children first turned up and went in the activity room where they got to fly in an old plane and dress up. Some chose to sit on the penny farthing and realised that it is very big and not easy to ride. After the activity room the children went on a tour and got to see lots of old buses, cars and bikes. They were all very excited as they got to sit in a real race car and find the minions on the old buses. The rest of the day was spent going on different planes, seeing the inside of Concorde cockpit and playing in the discovery centre. They had a great day.
