Mindful of the many demands on working parents, Lyndhurst offers a “childcare” service during term-time. Children from nursery age can be dropped at school from 8.00am and looked after until 6.00 pm at the end of the day.

The Headmaster’s wife manages the before and after school care, providing a home from home at the start and end of the day. As a Registered Nurse she is able to deal with minor injuries as they arise. She is also fully aware of longer term medical issues which may impact on a child’s learning and wellbeing in school, such as asthma, epilepsy etc. She is always available to parents to discuss and, where appropriate, advise on these issues.
