Bumper harvest for kids' charity

Pupils at a Camberley school have handed over hundreds of food items to a children's charity.  Every child at Lyndhurst School brought in packets of rice, soup and pasta and donated them to Feed the Children after two weeks of collecting.

Dull outlook gets colour

A wall set up to mask building work at a Cambereley care home has been brightened up by school children.  Pupils at Lyndhurst School drew and painted pictures about the environment and donated them to Corrina Lodge in the Avenue.

Magnifique! Un jour de France

Or 'Magnificent! A day of France' as pupils of Lyndhurst would have said before their minds were transported across the Channel for a few hours.  Children were encouraged to use French in every lesson, from mathematics to art, and enjoyed authentic French cuisine at lunchtime. "It was a fantastic day and the children really enjoyed it" said Mr. Yeo, Headmaster.
