Year Three to Year Six are still on a high from Young Voices at the O2 Arena! Lyndhurst School is very proud of how they behaved over the course of what was a very long day and of course, very VERY proud of their performances in the show. There was great excitement on the coach when the children first saw the huge, yellow scaffold spikes sticking out of the dome. Lyndhurst School was one school among many, there were over 7000 children in the choir! Several hours of fruitful rehearsals followed in which we sang and danced our hearts out. The performance came around quickly, and we weren’t quite ready for just how dark the blackout would be – all that sparkled in the pitch black were our torches. The children enjoyed their amazing day, and staff enjoyed the Fatboy Slim 90’s medley as children looked on, puzzled.
