Year 2
Year 2 is a time when we encourage your child to become more self- reliant, to organise themselves and their belongings. Your child will work a slightly longer day than in Year 1 and will receive homework daily lasting approximately 20 minutes. There is much emphasis on writing using cursive joins and neat presentation of all work is expected. Gradually we introduce more challenging work and encourage their curiosity.
