In Year 4 your child will join the senior part of the school. He or she is growing up and is encouraged to take responsibility for themselves and their belongings. The school day is extended to four o’clock and homework of about 30 minutes duration is set every night. The work level increases steadily through the year, but most children adapt quickly and enjoy the challenges and rewards of more independent learning.

One of the highlights of Year 4 is the annual musical production. Every child in Year 4 is involved and the productions are always highly praised by enthusiastic audiences. Past productions include:
