Year 5 have safely returned from their three day trip to Normandy.

We had a fabulous time, visiting a German Battery on the coast of Northern France, Bayeux and the Tapestry, a market, a biscuit factory at Asnelles, Pegasus Bridge and Ranville Cemetery, the Cheese Factory at Graindorge and a farm. – Phew – pretty good going for 3 days! We stayed in a delightful Gite in Clinchchamps sur Orne. The weather was kind – only one shower and we left Ouistreheim to return to Portsmouth after a morning of glorious sunshine at the farm.

The children were amazing and thoroughly enjoyed the experience – exhausting but so worth it! Merci beaucoup and bon weekend!
