Year 2 went on their school trip to Windsor Castle on Monday. We had a good day watching the changing of the guard, visiting St George’s Chapel, admiring Queen Mary’s Dolls house and the State Rooms. We also had a talk about why castles were built and the children got the opportunity to dress up and learn about castle defences. Thank you to Mrs Lyons for accompanying us. The children really enjoyed themselves and it has helped their understanding of our history topic.
