Don’t forget to send your children in with a change of shoes during this snowy weather. We will keep you informed via text and ParentMail, as well as on the website, about any changes to the usual routine over the next few days.
As you can see they are all coming along so well. We are all very proud parents! Their wing feathers are starting to grow…..
All appears happy in the Chick House! There are actually ten little chicks – hopefully the children will be able to hold them next week as they will all be a little more robust!
All nine eggs are now hatched! The little chicks are keeping warm under their heat bulb and the children are so excited to see the nine new members of the Lyndhurst family.
Lyndhurst School! Years 4, 5 and 6 had the unique opportunity this week to tackle some tricky problems head on when an outside agency came to test their thinking skills. Across the whole day, the Year groups were split into small groups of 5 children and presented with a cube; the only visible thing on…
We are delighted to announce that one of our boys has gained a place at RGS and another has been awarded a Drama Scholarship to Hawleyhurst. Well done boys, all that hard work and extra preparation was worth it. We are so proud.
We have egg-citing news – we now have two chicks hatched. One hatched late yesterday and this morning at around 9am the second chick fought it’s way out the shell! How many will we have by the end of the day?
Courtesy of Friends of Lyndhurst we have taken delivery of our Living Eggs for this year. Watch this space for news of our chicks! Thank you to Living Eggs for providing the eggs and equipment
Lyndhurst pupils all had a spectacular afternoon meeting Olympic athlete Ezekiel Ewulo. They participated in a fun but challenging circuit including star jumps, press up’s, leg drives and spotty dogs. They showed excellent support and motivation for one and other along the way! Pupils also received a very inspirational assembly and had the opportunity to…
A great day for all the Lyndhurst pupils who took part in the ISA cross-country! Every participant did themselves proud and there were some great results all round! Lyndhurst prides itself on being a small family oriented school, however when it comes to large events such as today it can be difficult to place in team events as many school have lots of children! However, our year 3 and 4 boys WON overall and are the ISA London West Champions! A huge Congratulations to the team of Rupert, Seb, Ben, Cameron and Max! Rupert also placed 2nd overall in the race and both him and Seb have qualified for nationals! Miss Stocker-Jones is very proud of the team and everyone that took part, they were a pleasure to take to such a fabulous event!
