This  Year 6 took the lead in our Remembrance Assembly and showed that they would never forget. They had all spent time preparing various tributes in the form of stories, facts and poems. There was also a wonderful PowerPoint detailing different aspects about November the 11th and a detailed synopsis of Goodnight Mister Tom. What they did was amazing, and we are all so proud of them.

A member of Year 1 then recited For the Fallen and representatives from each class planted a poppy in our Remembrance Garden.

We were delighted to be joined by Mr Trevor Deacon, a former Lyndhurst pupil who was at the school during World War II. He then spoke to Year 6 about the war.
