More stunning Art on display at Lyndhurst – some beautiful Valentines Hearts, some super Bookmarks, and colourful Picasso! Bravo!
It’s wonderful to see the school walls and halls full of art that the children work so hard on creating. Imaginations have taken a trip around the world, to still life greats and even to outer space so far this term!
We are delighted to bring you some of the highlights from Art at Lyndhurst this week. From still life techniques practice, model car engineering to intricate hand sewing. The children have embraced their Art lessons and channelled their creativity!
Great work from our talented Year 6 with their very own name signs. Inspired by comic strip and cartoons we love that some children have used their nicknames to tie into the fun and eye catching theme! These look great on display at school.
A busy week for Art department and our creative Lyndhurst children! Reception have had fun making adorable animals from paper cups. Year 4 have been building Tudor houses with great concentration and the works of Romero Britto and Van Gogh have been explored, researched and recreated in the Prep years.

The children at Lyndhurst creativity is always impressive. Year 3 have continued their focus on architecture by designing their own house or building. Whilst in Year 4 they have painted their clay pots. Charles Fazzino’s artwork has inspired Year 5 to create beautiful London skyline pieces.
