This week Waverley visited Lyndhurst to play U11 girls hockey match it was the first time for most of the team playing hockey competitively and they all put in an amazing effort. The first half saw Lyndhurst play Waverley’s first team our girls played some great hockey with accurate passing and great movement around the pitch. It was a fast-paced game with no let-up in excitement the half finished 4 all. For the second half Waverley brought on the next team but Lyndhurst kept going getting stronger as the match continued. They fought hard throughout only narrowly missing out on a draw with the score for the half 3 –2 to Waverley. Well, done Girls!
