At Lyndhurst School, we are committed to ensuring that our children receive not only a wholesome, nutritious and balanced lunch each day but also a delicious one. Lunch is cooked by chef, who enjoys discussing the choices on offer with the children each day and works with even the fussiest eaters to find something they would enjoy eating.
The children enjoy a range of lunch dishes, as well as vegetarian option every day and every effort is made to minimise sugar and salt consumption. The day’s menu can include anything from popular roast dinner, fish and chips on Friday to meat free meals on a Monday.
Our chef will accommodate any allergy, exclusion diet, food intolerance and religious requirement. Nuts are never brought into school.
The children regularly sample different cuisines, to celebrate specific days over the year and have pancakes on Shrove Tuesday.
