The youngest in our school begin their exciting journey with us when they join us in our Nursery.
Through our high adult to child ratio and our warm, family atmosphere, children settle into our sensitive and nurturing nursery environment as if they have always been part of the Lyndhurst family.
We celebrate every child’s strengths, encouraging them to follow their interests, to explore, investigate, question and learn. Children enjoy a varied timetable with access to all main school facilities.
Our nursery and Pre-Reception children have daily phonics and maths sessions, specialist lessons in PE, French, drama, dance, outdoor learning and music whilst still having plenty of opportunities to play, explore and develop their own learning and interests both inside and outside of the classroom.
Our plentiful outside space offers many opportunities for outside learning, exploration and play to take place. Our activities are fun, engaging, promoting confidence and independence.
Regular external visitors are always welcome to the school to help to open up the world for the children and we have exciting trips out during the year to a wide range of local places of interest.
