We began last week with Harvest Festival; where we talked about our favourite foods and gave thanks that we have so much choice. Thank you for all your generous donations; these will all be gratefully received by the Besom charity, which helps support local families in need.

We are supporting the BESOM Trust again this year as part of our Harvest Celebration. Reverend Nicole from St Michael’s Church in Camberley visited us for our Harvest Assembly where we celebrated all that the Harvest season offers us and we talked about the work of BESOM.
On Friday all the children did their denim for Charity. Children in Year 1 to Year 6 were asked to wear their house polo shirts so we enjoyed a very colourful day in add of a very worthwhile charity. We raised £106!

I really enjoyed having so many snuggly buddies in for the day for CLIC Sargeant….. but… now they have all gone…….. Still, I’m off to Luckley House with Year 5 tomorrow for a Senior School Experience morning. Good night everyone Love Lyndhurst Bear x
As part of our fundraising for CLIC Sargeant this year, the children were allowed to bring in a snuggly for the day in return for making a donation. This proved very popular amongst pupils and staff alike! We’ll let you know how much was raised once the coins have been counted!

This morning Reverend Nicole from St Michael’s Church, Camberley, was our special visitor for our Harvest Assembly. The children had bought in food donations for the BESOM Trust in Camberley who support those locally who are in need of food. He told the story of ‘Stone Soup’ and the children all sang a Harvest hymn….
