Well we certainly ‘decked the hall’ at our Christmas Wreath making Workshop hosted by Flowers by Juliette. A fantastic turnout for a very enjoyable evening which raised £160 for the FoL.

There was real buzz in school this week with the first Cake Sale of the year. Thank you to Mrs Mellish, Mrs Hunter and Mrs Gordon for decorating the Science Room it looked incredible. The sale of the tasty delights raised £86 – nothing scary about that! It was lovely to see so many homemade cakes decorated…

The 2019 Friends of Lyndhurst Quiz and Chips night… A huge turnout to this annual event which saw 9 teams test their knowledge in a battle to take home the trophy..  Reassuringly, The Lyndhurst Teachers Team took home the prize.  Our children are obviously in safe hands!   Year 5, bringing up the rear in bottom…

Green Up Your Act visited us this week to deliver a Green Shoots workshop – focusing on how we can reduce emissions from the transport of our food. We talked briefly about how our food is transported and where it comes from, and compared British products to ones found globally. Should we always buy British?…

Love was all around at the Valentine’s Discos, hosted by the Friends of Lyndhurst in the Deacon Hall yesterday.  The children certainly strutted their stuff and showcased their wonderful dance moves!  Thank you to ‘Cupcake and Crumble’ who kindly baked homemade cakes for our children…. LOVEly!

Last Thursday, 9 teams tested their knowledge and battled to be crowned Lyndhurst Quiz Champions of 2019!  Special thanks go to our awesome Quizmaster Mr Manser and Mrs Price for hosting such a fabulous night. Well done to the Kindergarten parents’ team who took home the winners trophy!  For those who ‘bought up the rear’…

Many thanks to the Upper School children and parents for baking and selling so many delicious treats for the cake sale this week. Your efforts raised £102.80 for the Friends of Lyndhurst Funds.

Last week Lyndhurst hosted the extremely popular Christmas Wreath making Workshop.  32 ladies enjoyed delving through foliage and decorations to each create a gorgeous unique wreath which will make any front door proud!  We toasted our work with a glass of fizz and raised £160 for the Friends of Lyndhurst!

On the 11th October we had our autumn Friends of Lyndhurst social with about 65 parents from the school all coming together at a local restaurant in Camberley, Sanjha, where we had a fantastic night of food, music and great conversation.
