Year 5 ‘s trip to the Living Rainforest was a huge success and fun was had by all – including staff! It was exceptionally warm and toasty in the Rainforest; just right for the habitat of plants and animals. Amazing species of plant and animal were seen, including coffee plants and pythons. Harry the armadillo was a firm favourite, with his keratin covered shell, especially when we found out he had dug up and eaten all of the plants in his enclosure. Sadly, we did not manage to see Cinnamon the sloth – it’s a shame they blend in so well! Finally, Mr Manser was very proud when the tour guide told us that we were one of the best groups that she had ever had!
