Year 6 Christingle

Posted: 2nd December 2019

This week began with a peaceful time for reflection. Year 6 presented an assembly about Christingle, attended by their parents, grandparents and the whole school.

They showed everyone how a Christingle is made and what each part symbolises. They went through the history of the Christingle and the part it plays in the Children’s Society. Once the Christingles were lit, Mr Rudkin led the prayer and each child left with a Christingle card – an opportunity to think about how they can bring light into the life of others.
