House Fixtures

This week was with house sports competitions which has showcased some fantastic fitness and sports skills.  It has also shown how passionate the pupils are for their houses and the determination and competitiveness they have.

On Tuesday Years 5&6 took part in the house cross-country event when all pupils competed for points for their house as well as individual recognition.  It was a very close race with a sprint t0 the finish by Rupert (Knightsbridge) and Sebastian (Yorktown) with Sebastian holding out to take it on the line.  Just behind was Harry followed by Freyja and Jasper.  The points gained will be added together with the Year 3 & 4 event to give an overall winning house.

The following day saw Years 5 & 6 compete in the house football competition, this is a highly competitive event where everyone involved gets revved up.  There were some close matches with some fantastic saves by the goalies.  The overall winner was Knightsbridge who were undefeated in all their matches and only conceded two goals.    This result will be combined with the Year 3 & 4 event to give a house winner that will be announced in the end of term celebration assembly.
