Lyndhurst children were challenged last week by Mrs Jones to use Ball Skills to get active.
We had a great response from the children. At school there were activities with tennis balls, netballs and footballs ending up with a great football match. At home children performed skills with body balls, beach balls, ping pong balls, rugby balls and we even had a pet dog taking part too!
Balls are an excellent way for the children to develop and strengthen their motor skills. It familiarizes the children with their environment, develops their upper body mobility, helps them grow stronger, and develops the muscles they need to run, jump, and hop higher and faster.
