Ancient Egypt Day for Year 4

Posted: 9th June 2021

Year Four were very excited for their Egyptian day. It was an AMAZING day! The children were dressed up in fantastic Egyptian costumes and they got to put them to good use in lots of role play activities. They were also made to fan a fabulous pharaoh!

It was a very busy day. Here is a recap on the activities – the children shared news about Tutankhamun, spread gossip about the city of Thebes, painted tombs, made perfume and clay canopic jars, went on a crocodile hunt, learned how the Ancient Egyptians battled, did some dancing, performed a story, hunted down (teddy bear) rats in the marketplace, made bracelets and had a feast! And they had a ball!
