Year 5 Media Club Wins International Journalism Prize!
I am absolutely delighted to announce that the Year 5 Media Club has won the Learn2Think Foundation ‘Young Journalist of the Year 2021’ competition, an international prize!
The children worked so hard on their podcast “The Climate Crew,” which investigated various aspects of climate change. The judges said they were “blown away by the team work, professionalism, interviewing skills and passion on display.”
The children won a cash prize, which they will be donating to charity. They were presented with trophies and certificates at assembly this week.
