Year 6 trip to St Michael’s Church

Posted: 12th June 2023

A big thank you to St Michael’s Church in Camberley for welcoming Year 6 for a visit to learn all about the church’s role in the community.  Reverend Pippa and Tori spoke about the work carried out for the homeless through The Hope Hub.  As a school we are collecting donations for the Hope Hub, there is a box in Reception should you wish to donate any of the following items: thermal socks, deodrant, t-shirts, jogger bottoms, tins of fish such as tuna or salmon and tins of casserole.  Please no pasta, chickpeas or beans as they have plenty of these.

Also, on the Year 6 visit to the church, they looked at what the offers the local community.   Thank you again to Reverend Pippa and Tori for welcoming us to learn more about their role in the community.
