Year 3 went on amazing visit to Bignor Roman Villa in West Sussex on Wednesday. The children had the opportunity to see remains of the original Roman villa. They loved learning about all of the different Roman mosaic floors and their significance. Year 3 saw the authentic Roman bath and discussed when a Roman would use each type. They found Medusa hidden in the mosaics multipile times as she was a symbol of protection for the Romans. Year 3 thoroughly enjoyed this trip and definitely showed off our school’s value of being curious with all other their great questions! Thank you to all of the staff at Bignor Villa who made year 3 feel so welcome.
