Years 4-6 also enjoyed a cinema trip this week. They watched ‘Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds’. The children had a wonderful time together – with the whole cinema to themselves and had a fantastic experience!
These children had great fun in school clubs this week creating their very own comic book strip. They saw examples of how comics tell a story, and began bringing to life their superheroes and villains on the page. We saw some great art, creativity and storylines!
Years 1 to Year 3 were lucky enough to have the entire Vue Cinema, Camberley, to themselves when they went to see ‘Ballerina’ as part of the Into Film festival on Tuesday morning. An exciting week for the Music department here at Lyndhurst. Students have prepared, practised and rehearsed. They all performed brilliantly when taking their ABRSM exams for Piano and Singing grades 1-3 and we eagerly await their results!
Year 5 had a fantastic afternoon of LEAF this week. The children built dens using nothing but tarpaulin and rope, demonstrating their great knot trying skills, they whittled sticks using knives and peelers before finally starting their own campfires using flint and steel. An awesome afternoon!
