Hampton Court – Year 4 Trip

Posted: 6th December 2021

Year Four’s highlight of the week was definitely the trip to Hampton Court. They started the day by learning about the Tudor kitchens, where they cooked, the found out about the different kinds of food that Henry VIII ate and the different ways Tudors cooked food in the Palace. Then Year Four enjoyed some outside time playing in the maze. Luckily, the teachers found them all! To end the day, Year 4 followed a trail (after Mrs. Jones found the way around!) and discovered different paintings and features of the palace, such as the golden roof, the painting of Henry VIII and the amazing rooms. The children had a great time and we believe the children learnt a lot more about the Tudor era.
