Year 4 are exploring melodrama this term. They have looked at the stock characters associated with this historical form of drama, including the hero, the villain, and the damsel in distress. This week they started devising their own melodramas.
21 children took their LAMDA acting exams on Wednesday. They all performed their poems or scenes in front of the examiner and answered her questions. The children all enjoyed the experience even if some of them were a little nervous before they went in. I am sure they all did wonderfully and should be proud of themselves. The results should be back by the end of term.
