We were absolutely thrilled to host all the parents and children in Years 3 to 6 together for the Summer Concert. Despite the weather being a bit wet, the music from the hall was enough to blow all the rain clouds away. The children performed spectacularly well and showed confidence, progress and joy. It was lovely to celebrate their hard work and practice.
We were treated to performances ranging from the Orchestras rousing performance of “I’m Still Standing” by Elton John to the classics performed on the piano such as “Hey Jude” by the Beatles, the Year 3 recorders “Movie Busters” and the Year 4 rendition of “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” on the ukuleles.
The evening was rounded off in style with a inspiring rendition of “True Colours” sung by the Year 3 to 6 choir.
