Reception have been enjoying reading the book ‘Pumpkin Soup’ by Helen Cooper. They have loved hearing about the animals having their own jobs to do when they cook, and they especially enjoyed the mayhem that occurred when duck wanted a turn at stirring the pumpkin soup. The children in Reception class have got to enjoy making their very own Pumpkin Soup just like in the book. They loved taking out the seeds from the pumpkin and cutting up all of the pumpkin flesh. The children all loved tasing their delicious pumpkin soup, they were so excited and proud to share it round with all of the staff and explain how it was all made. Well done Reception!
