Barfield Challenge
Year 3 enjoyed an amazing jam packed action day at Barfield 3 Peaks last week. Their day included archery, quad biking, climbing, team building and much more! All the children embraced this fun filled day and gave everything a go.
Invaders Assembly
Year 3 impressed with their energetic and brilliant invaders assembly. They all really looked the part in their costumes and performed well, remembering their lines, parts and viking facts!
Drama – Year 3 Vikings
Year 3 gave a performance of their ‘Vikings’ assembly in front of their parents and the whole school. They were all brilliant on the stage, they delivered their lines clearly and performed the songs and dances with energy and enthusiasm. Well done year three, you are all stars!
Sports – Cricket anyone?
Years 3 & 4 enjoyed the perfect weather for a spot of cricket this week and really enjoyed working as a team. We saw some terrific batting and bowling skills with all of the children eager to improve as the game went on.
Art – Viking scenes
Year 3 have been hard at work creating the backgrounds for their Viking long boat art scenes. The children are enjoying seeing their pictures come together one element at a time and are looking forward to completing them and having them on display.
Escape Room Workshop
This week Years 3-6 took part in some amazing Escape Room workshops.The children were tested and challenged by the tasks set out and worked well together to answer questions and solve clues. A big thank you to The Problem Solving Company and well done to all the children.
