A Golfing Challenge – written by Oliver

I took part in the recent annual ISA Golf Competition. The event was taking place at Huntswood Golf Club. The conditions were terrible – high winds meant that shots were much trickier than normal. However, the stakes were high. I had the third best handicap in the whole tournament which put me at a disadvantage. My favourite hole was the par three, which was the second hole. I birdied the hole and was delighted. I also birdied the eighth hole which turned my round around. At the end of the round, I had a delicious chicken  burger. When we were about to hear the results, I felt so nervous, yet also excited. Then I heard the words ‘And the winner of the ISA 2018 U12 competition is… Oliver.”  And the rest is history.
