Debate at Greenfields

Several children this week were fortunate enough to go to Greenfield School to take part in a mock UN discussion and debate. The children had to prepare a presentation of their choice using one of the UN statutes – they chose to focus on climate change and our ability to take care of our planet.

After presenting their well researched and laid out presentation, the children were treated to a sustainably sourced, vegetarian lunch which they devoured almost instantly.

In the afternoon, the children debated several hot topics relating to gender equality and equality in the workplace.  We were also treated to a visit form Jonathan Lord, MP for Woking who talked to the children about making a difference and being an MP.
