Skills for life in Drama

Posted: 1st February 2021

For drama the Upper School children were reciting monologues – a difficult skill.  Reciting monologues is an important skill for the children to include in their acting toolbox.   By practising monologues, they will develop their speech, communication and presentation skills.  They are encouraged to express themselves both verbally using different voices and tones, and through facial expressions and body language, both of which are key to making them better and more effective communicators in life.
