It has been a busy year in the drama department, despite lockdowns. The Autumn term saw nativity plays being performed by early years and years 1 & 2 both of which were filmed by Farnborough Technical college. LAMDA lessons continued online during the spring lockdown, and drama challenges were enjoyed by all the children. The summer term was especially busy with LAMDA exams, year 3’s Anglo-Saxon assembly, The year 4 & 6 production of ‘Shakespeare Rocks’ as well as the year 5 French assembly and the year 6 leavers assembly. We are incredibly pleased that all the children have had an opportunity to perform this year despite the difficult times we have been through. We are looking forward to more wonderful performances at Lyndhurst next year and wish all our leavers the best of luck in all their dramatic endeavours in their next schools.
