Easter Story assembly

Posted: 29th March 2023

We would like to say a big thank you to Reverend Pippa, Tori and Daniel from St Michael’s Church who shared an entertaining dramatisation of the Easter story with the school.  There was the dunking of Jesus in water to show his baptism, a fishing net, sand to represent the desert and other forms of representation including two donkeys!  We learnt that the Chocolate Easter Eggs are hollow to symbolise the tomb Jesus was placed in after being on the cross.  Every child was given a piece of string to tie a knot in and to remember the fishing nets used by the fisherman.
