Mrs Dodds, our lovely Art Teacher has been getting the children into the Easter spirit. They have been working hard to create some lovely Easter art which has been proudly showcased in the school’s art room. Year 1 decorated bags with Easter stickers and made lovely little Easter bunnies from cups to go in the bags. Year 2 decorated paper plates with cute little Easter chicks hatching out of their eggs.
This term, Year 2 have also worked on some beautiful flower pictures inspired by Georgina O’ Keeffe. They did some great blending of colours on their flowers.
Year 4 have worked on some striking pictures inspired by Klint.
Year 1 have been enjoying learning about space and have been having fun making out of this world Alien spaceships.
We look forward to seeing all the new artworks popping up around the school in the Summer term.
