Drama – Pirates!
Year two are focusing on characterisation in drama this term. They are exploring different characters each week. This week they became pirates. They loved exploring pirate themed drama games and they especially loved finding some treasure and improvising a tale about how they acquired their ill-gotten gains.

Year 2 – Shape Hunters!
To start Year 2’s new Maths topic of 2D and 3D shapes, the children went on a scavenger hunt for them around the school. They worked together as a team and were very surprised to find that the most common shape was a cuboid!

LEAF – Year 2 Build Dens
Year 2 get stuck in! The children thoroughly enjoyed their session den building outside. Working together to choose the right materials for their den and thinking about how to fix it all together. A great effort from all of them and lots of fun too.
