Working with Buddy and the NSPCC

Posted: 29th June 2018

Lyndhurst School took part in different challenges to raise money for the NSPCC ‘Speak Out, Stay Safe’ campaign.  This was a ‘gentle’ warm up for Sports Afternoon!

Year 3 and Year 6 worked together as House Teams to complete relay obstacles.  The children had to use various sporting skills during the obstacles including some golf and basketball.  Each house enthusiastically supported their fellow team members.  Congratulations to all the children for their fast and eager participation in the obstacle course.

Year 1 and Reception also worked in house teams to balance, jump and run over a short course, all the way there and all the way back, remembering to high five the next team member to start them off.  It was a great introduction to some sporting house team work and everyone had lots of fun.

Year 2 were challenged with 2000 metres run but some children managed to do even more than that – Zafar and Ethan ran 4000 metres!

Well done Lyndhurst School you raised an impressive amount for the NSPCC ….over £700
