As part of Into Film Festival Year One to Year Three were fortunate to visit Camberley Vue Cinema to watch ‘Sing 2’. The Festival provides an opportunity for the film industry to inspire our children to understand and make film in new and creative ways.
‘Sing 2’ was a fantastic start to what promises to be a wonderful term. The children thoroughly enjoyed all the music, colour and quirky characters! Favourites had to be ‘I still haven’t found what I’m looking for’ – sung by the character Cal Calloway (voiced by Bono), original made famous by U2.
Based on the trials and tribulations of the production and stage management of live theatre, it has proved a good talking point for some of the children to begin to understand what it takes to put on live shows and has inspired some of our keen singers and actors to excel in the future. We are grateful to inspire and encourage our young minds on all journeys they take into the world of The Arts.
