This week the children enjoyed a whole school Geography Day.
In the morning, each year group performed on stage as their prepared some facts about foreign countries or taught others basic phrases in another language. After that, the children “travelled” to different countries to learn interesting things about them and taste some national food. Some children were wearing special clothes to represent the country where their family come from. We had an amazing day and the children learnt many new facts so hopefully they will share their knowledge with you when they come back home.
Thank you to all the teachers who prepared the information about various places around the world and the parents who contributed and shared their national clothes or objects with us today. A special thank you to Mrs Kelly who joined us at the school assembly and taught us about South Africa.
