In art this term year two have been studying colour. They have learnt the primary and secondary colours and the order of the colours of the rainbow. They have looked at the work of the artist Piet Mondrian who produced abstract pictures using only the primary colours. Year 2 have produced their own paintings in the style of Mondrian. We think they’re very effective.
