Any day of the year makes for a perfect opportunity to support and celebrate the women in our lives. However, the 8th of March marks a very important day – ‘International Women’s Day’.
International Women’s Day is celebrated to commemorate and honour women’s accomplishments, raise awareness about gender disparities and discrimination, along with promoting global support for women.
International Women’s Day invites every woman, man, girl and boy in the world to come together, to support and celebrate women and girls in all their diversity. We would like to give thanks to all the wonderful female staff we have at Lyndhurst School; your hard work and dedication are really appreciated.
