We would like to say a big thank you to all of our students and parents for their kind donations when they wore their party clothes at the Valentine’s disco. We are delighted to let you know that we raised £264 from this event, which will be donated to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) charities.
The DEC is made up of 15 member charities who are experts in humanitarian aid and specialise in different areas of disaster response. DEC charities and their local partners are among the first responders providing urgent aid to families in Turkey and Syria. Following the search and rescue operation, immediate priorities are access to healthcare, shelter for those who have lost their homes, heating in safe spaces, blankets, warm clothes, ensuring people have food and clean water. Your kind donations will help to support those in need of help and aid over in Turkey and Syria following the devastating earthquake there.
